This knife features a 1095 high carbon steel blade with a mill scale finish and semi-gloss primary bevel.
The "wa" handle is made from burnt walnut, complemented by black G10 and copper spacers.
Accompanying the knife is a handmade burnt walnut saya.
Care Instructions:
Cleaning: Always hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Never use a dishwasher.
Drying: Immediately dry the knife thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent moisture from causing rust.
Oiling: Apply a thin layer of food-safe oil, such as mineral oil, to the blade after drying. This helps create a protective barrier against moisture and oxidation.
Storage: Store the knife in a dry environment. Ensure the blade is dry and oiled before sheathing to avoid trapping moisture.
